Hello, to all art fans, my name is Annette Burger. I am a native Washingtonian. My favorite places to visit in the Washington D.C. Metro area include the National Zoo, the National Air and Space Museum, and the National Gallery of Art. I have a passion for all forms of art and enjoy creating unique art paintings from scratch. Works of art bring people from all cultures together providing beauty to our world just as music and the animal kingdom do. Art paintings lift our spirits by giving us feelings of joy and delight. My educational background includes studies in art education, architecture, design, history, and courses in art drawing techniques. I have an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from Montgomery College. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). I have 2 sons and enjoy an active lifestyle, playing sports, tennis, and walking in parks especially in the Springtime and Summer. I enjoy gardening and created my own vegetable garden from seedlings a year ago. I was thrilled to notice 2 cantaloupes growing in my garden from seedlings planted!
